Does that mean men are better than women at resolving relationship issues on their own? In my opinion, more relationships would be healthy and last if more men would just take some time to find out how to help the relationship along. Here's a few of the basics, to help a relationship stay healthy and strong.A relationship needs to be a 50-50 partnership, period. Its give and take from both partners from the start, or don't expect it to last. When one partner has control over the other, it makes for an unhealthy relationship. Lots of men are not as open as a woman, when it comes to talking about issues that may be affecting the relationship. Not opening up to your partner can be very damaging, and lead to an unpleasant ending.Love and respect for each other is a must, if a relationship has any chance of lasting. Its not always the woman's place to work on problems that could be causing a breakup, both need to have an equal amount of input. It will build a solid relationship along with a high amount of respect for you both. If your having an issue with something your partner does, keeping quiet wont solve the problem. If you don't talk to them about it, it wont change.Men have just as much at stake in a relationship as women, so its only fair that men contribute as much as a woman.
