What are the types of plagiarism? Plagiarism has been divided into three types on the basis of the intensity of plagiarism. 1. Minimal Plagiarism: This type of plagiarism means that the student has used synonyms for the original paper. This type of plagiarism can easily be found due to the wrong placement of references. 2. Substantial Plagiarism: By adding more details in the original text and using new sentences in order to change the pattern of the paper.
3. Complete plagiarism: This means that the original copy has been used without any changes.
