The reason is simple and it is this – We have only ONE life and we will eventually leave this place or in simplistic terms: We will kick the bucket. Since you have only one life, why not then make it extraordinary rather than lead a plain ordinary life. It makes no sense to leave something so precious to chance. And remember that chance is like the wind which can change directions randomly with no mercy or consideration. We must act to cause all that is in our influence to create a future that we desire. Why not give life your best shot and have fun while doing it? Even if we didn’t achieve what we perceived, we would still end up better of then if it was left to chance. We would have gained some distinctions from all the experiences and learning from all the attempts (whether successful or unsuccessful). Furthermore when an attempt does not give the desire outcome, is it not failing but trying each time will end with a result. Each result is a step closer towards your dream. It is another distinction as to what not to do the next time. You are a step ahead. So in effect, there is no such thing as a failure. In the late 1800, Thomas Edison the creator of the light bulb had tried and failed 111,009 times before finally succeeding with the first light bulb the world had seen.
