What Is A Zit?Author: Richard SutterSimply stated, a zit and a pimple are one in the same. In fact, the word zit, is American slang for the word pimple. Therefore, in the same way we define a pimple, a zit is a small skin inflammation or infection that arises most often because of clogged pores. There isn't anyone who is immune to having a zit. It can attack anyone. The zit is not partial to any specific age, gender, ethnicity or location. To make matters worse, a zit can appear on any part of your body, as long as skin is present.
