If you want them to learn both English and Spanish at the same time, then read to them a few nights a week in English and a few nights a week in Spanish. 2. Listening in Spanish The more often your child is surrounded with listening to Spanish, then it will be much easier for them to learn the language. One way to help them listen to Spanish is by playing a Spanish CD or turning on the radio to a Spanish station. The child does not always have to be actually focusing or listening to what is being said to learn the language. If they can here the language in the background on a regular basis, then this should help them understand the language sooner.
