The concluding part of any paper represents the last opportunity that you have to demonstrate to the tutor that you fully understand the question and the issues that relate to it. It is also the only chance that you get to provide an answer on the basis of the evidence that you have provided. This article aims to help you write a conclusion so that all of the above is included.

The first thing that you should do when you begin writing a conclusion is to re-read each of the key points that you have made in the essay. Next, summarize these points briefly in no more than a few sentences. A good conclusion helps the reader to understand your concluding remarks by tying together all of the arguments that you have made beforehand. Secondly it is important to avoid adding completely new arguments and information into the final part of the term paper. This is a common error made by students and only serves to confuse the already existing and credible arguments that you have made. The only information that should be in the conclusion are those that you have already discussed in the main body of the essay.

Thirdly, many students will either be eager to get the paper finished by the time they get to the conclusion or they are struggling to find more resources to write about.
