5 Tips for PPC Success (Print Ready)
You’ve probably heard of pay-per-click before. It is usually abbreviated as PPC and it is an internet advertising model that involves advertisers paying their host sites only when their advertisements are clicked. Content sites usually charge a set amount per click. For search engines, advertisers bid for keywords and phrases that are relevant to their target market. The following five tips will help you set up a successful PPC advertising campaign, so that you reach the widest audience in a way that doesn’t break your wallet.
1. Have unique landing pages Unique landing pages are immensely important in the world of PPC advertisement, especially if you’re promoting an affiliate product. On each landing page, include consumer reviews of whatever product or products you’re advertising, as these increase sales by 50% or more. 2. Bid on cheap, relevant keywords and phrases This applies when you’re doing PPC on search engines. Do a bit of research into your target market and find key words and phrases that are relevant and descriptive of your product and that are low-cost, as these will often be the keywords with the least competition.
Build a base of these low-cost keywords. 30 or more are best for getting the most out of your pay-per-click costs.
